Knitting in (almost) Tuscany
Yesterday I was knitting in the sun, a colorful yarn that made me feel I wa in Tuscany, in a vineyard.... My next project is a blanket to watch tv with and it's going to be in five coordinating warm colors. I was trying the stitch pattern with this yarn because colors make me feel so happy (I still remember the "black" scarf I knitted one Christmas...)

Mediterranean bread
At home, it's very difficult to take a photo of something before Luke eats half of it. As soon as I open the oven, Luke already has a piece of it, no matter how much I use every technique i know to separate him from the think that I just baked and it's still burning. I never could take a photograph of the banana bread, or the seeds bread... Today, I felt a little more mediterranean, and I made an olive bread. Before putting it in the oven, i brushed it with olive oil and sea salt and rosemay freshly grinded.
It looks like lately I'm only cooking, but I'm knitting too. I don't have photos though. I'm almost finishing my scarf, started the last pair of Carol's famous booties (CBF from now on) and I'm designing Luke's hat (vivid colors, I'm still thinking how to combine them, and letting some time pass so he can decide if he really wants it or not) Also a pair of small projects, ones that requiere less time, but I still have to find the time to make them!
