New addition

I know everyone is busy with novels and weddings and such, but I'd like to take a moment to introduce the newest member of the family... my first tomato! For some reason I felt compelled to grow something (probably because it's been so warm and sunny, but mainly to try and get over my "black thumb" paranoia), but a few weeks ago I bought a little tomato plant seedling and I'm happy to say that I've managed not to kill it... hooray! With any luck, I'll be "harvesting my first crop" in a few more months. HA! Just call me Farmer Lell! Where's my pitchfork and overalls?!

It looks great Lell!!! Im actually shocked to see that a tomato can grow so much in Boulder. Yes, I know the summer is hot, but there's a lot of winter and frozen mornings. We have some tomatos almost ready to be cropped too, but for some reson I don;t feel so enthusiastic. But my two bouganvilleas are doing great since I took them with me to the beach terrace, and in a few days they will be blooming with pink flowers. I'm waiting for that moment to take photos of them and put them in the blog! I'm crocheting (yes, you read well, crocheting) a present for a neighbour. Somehow, I took the hook and ther it was again, amy knowledge about crochet coming back at me! I still can't believe ite, but it's growing now. I promise a photo too. I alwasys kenow you were good with plants Lell, you only had to believe it. Sweet and good tomatos!
